Re: 223 AI?
Jacko, If those blokes are busy. . . .Col Crittendon has my Norma build at the moment - 4-6 weeks on average. Can supply phone numbers etc for you. Mick I'll second Col's work. He did a .22/.204AI and a .244Rem AI extra long for me and both shoot the lights out. he also has a .223AI reamer, as that...

Re: .222Rem Sierra 40g Blitzkings
I forget how much 2207 I use with 40gn bullets, though I am getting 3800fps and no pressure signs. As for pressure, if the cases are not expanding excessively, if I'm not getting ejector marks on my cases, and if the primer pockets are staying tight then what's it matter if you are running at 40,000...

Re: CZ 465 with double triggers - conversion to single trigg
I have a zkw 465 with a single trigger. It works a treat, I much prefer it to double set triggers.

In the meantime I'll take them out and clean them every now and again and try to get to the Missedathons
There's always the farm too mate.
For $290 US i'd defiantly be up for 1 barrel and maybe even 2.

Re: 6mm Speer 70gn TNT bullets.
Hi mick, I'd love to try some Tiapans, but it comes back to supply. Knowing my luck they will shoot well and I'll run out and never be able to get anymore. Con, thanks mate if you have a few spare 6mm's I have again sorted those you gave me into groups with less than 1gn variation and it looks like ...

6mm Speer 70gn TNT bullets.
I was looking at trying these bullets out in my 6-284 but I'm not sure if they would handle the speed. Has anybody tried any TNT bullet at around 3800fps and did the bullet make it to the target?

Re: Neck clearance ...
Con that big .17 of mine was cut so close, that I didn't have to size the cases, there is enough spring back in the brass to provide the right neck tension. That worked OK for me, though as I wasn't turning the necks so I couldn't change brands of cases in case they were a bit thicker. Yeah ... 30C...

Ok you blokes with .20 PPC/BR's,I checked my 22BR today and with a warm load of BM2 and a 40gn VMAX I am on the hammer at 200mtr's and then at 300mtr's I am eggzacery 4,1/2 inches low,how does this compare to the fast .20's. Hi Chris, I'm curious to know what velocities you are getting with 40's in...

Re: Annealing brass
I have finally found another man with an 8mm RM! I have a pile of Remington 8mm RM cases, but I use reformed .375H&H which are easier to find. When I anneal I hold the case in my bare hand and rotate it in the flame of a butane torch until the brass changes colour then I drop them into a bucket ...

Re: 20/222 pressures
Maybe you could use QL to get some max loads? Maybe set the limit at 45,000psi and see where that gets you?
