Brad, I have a 6BR with a 26" barrel and I use the 75 Vmax, 32.6 grains of 2208 and a CCI450. Lapua brass of course. Its an awesome load and very accurate. I don't buy anything else if I can get some 75 Vmax's.
Cheers

Where to get a walnut stock these days?
Ok so I am looking for a walnut stock maker and now that Geoff Slee is gone, I am having trouble finding who has filled that gap. Does anyone know, or do I have to import one?

Re: HOWA 1500
I think I would buy one over a Rem nowadays. Do they have the same hole pattern for scope bases as the Rem 700? Then I could put my Nightforce bases and scope on!

Re: Spotlighting rifle, what are you guys using?
Rem 700 VLS in 6mmBR, barrel is about 25 inches and it reliably feeds about 3 rounds in the magazine but I tend to use it as a single shot. I normally load the 70 grain NBT, they are devastating out of the 6BR. Scope is a Nightforce NXS 5.5-22x50. I like the illuminated reticle too. Awesome fun! Dave

Re: Removing a Primer seated backwards??
I agree with Sam, use some WD40 or similar. It is death to a primer straight away and no waiting.

Re: 6BR load help
Use the BM2, it is a faster burn and suitable for that bullet weight. Like Sam said, don't be 8 grains out though.

Re: 6BR load help
Yes I would be checking the scales for the correct weight of powder, they may be faulty if 33 grains is only half a full case. If they are under charged that would explain the sooty cases. In my 6BR, a charge of 33 grains leaves a wavy line around the case neck and very good accuracy on targets/fluf...

You and Shane have done it again AI. That is a very nice rifle. I have almost arrived at the 6.5x47 Lapua being my next build. I need a stock like that too!

Re: 6BR load help
Here's a couple you can work with as well although I don't shoot the 65 Vmax but with the 75 Vmax I load CCI BR4's and 32.6 grains of 2208. I also load the 70 grain NBT or 70 grain Speer TNT with 33 grains of 2208 and CCI 450's. I have tried the 60 grain Sierra Varminters with BM2 but can't find the...
