Had the same problem with my 308 loader. The problem was thin necks on the Winchester brass. I started using Remington brass and no more problems.

I started with the 136 scenar with 35gn of 2208. got an average of .389 over 4 groups i fired. out of interest what would be your guess as to the velocity? using 35gn. of 2208 out of a kreiger 25'' barrel. I wont get a chance to chronograph the load for a few weeks yet.

I was given 1kg of win 680 with the rifle along with a redding 3 die set and 100 RWS factory loads and 100 mixed case (win,rws,rem) reloads. just got to settle on a few projectiles to try, the reloads are sierra 45gn soft points. Wish I could of been there for the shoot, but I have spent the last 3 weeks in and out of Wagga having bits of quartz and silica dug out of my eyes after being sandblasted in the face at work. Congrats to all the winners.
