Thanks for the info Harry. I'll be winding Ben up when I see him next, though I expect Mr Huggett has been doing it already across the factory floor. Pity its so damn far away from us. Looking forward to the movie from Ted.

Re: FX Elite smooth twist barrel videos with different pelle
Hi Harry you've obviously sorted the settings well. I can't recall anything on my local forum. Perhaps I will be the first. :D . A few of the lads on other GB forums are doing stuff with cameras and most are on you tube somewhere. :) Ted's Holdover channel with the Hw100 was enlightening. Regards neil

Hi Harry nice videos, what camera and speed are you running those videos at 240 or 1000fps. I'm experimenting with a casio exlim fh100 and seben myself.

Re: TWIST RATES FOR AIR RIFLE CALIBRES
Hi afaik they are 1in 16 same as .22lr. I'm led to believe this was a carry over from when peoples like bsa were making .22lr. Some recent experimentation here in the uk has given results that indicate it might not be quite the optimium at 12ftlb.

Re: .25 calibre
The .25 does not have much of a following @12ftlb over hear except for ratting gun. However step up to around 40ftlb with a pcp and you have something which is gaining popularity over in the uk. There are several rapid users running this setup on the uk bbs, and none of them have a bad word to say, ...

Nice work Harry, I've managed to bond a video cam onto the rear of a scope with the help of ebay. :D Not got around to testing yet though. Anyways, another interesting video link below I came across a while back. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OHltqsdySYU Regards Neil

Re: Crusader.
There are some new 14gn ish jsb's about. Over here they go under several rebadged names though I believe they are called exact express from the parent company. Not tried them, but they are a good weight for 20ftlb.

Re: Crusader.
Hi I would also try crosman premiers@14.3gn and HNftt at 14.5gn if you can get them. These will make the most of flatterning the trajectory at the 20ftflb region the Crusader runs at and will feel a lot smoother to shoot.

Thanks for the info Harry, I'm doing similar routine with wd40.I might try and source some FP10 form Dave Welham if he still does it. Have a good xmas over your way, and if you can post some of the good weather to the UK it would be great :).It's a smidge thick over here with snow, even down south a...

Nice post Harry. The jsb .25 pellets have certainly revived that calibre over here.
Do you find the single dry pull through method is sufficient to negate the use of a wet clean if used often enough.

Excellent write up Harry. Good idea about a plate in front of the chrony, they are a tad delicate to in coming, but I can vouch for the good spares service from Chrony Canada.

The hm2 is gaining in popularity with rabbit shooters in the UK as hm2 ammo is half the price of hmr stuff over here.
