I've got one, i had to send it back with a 'chip' of glass floating in it.. and i wasnt 100% happy with the clarity in low light, it would be ok, but you get what you pay for.. i wish i'd stretched further... but it is the best of my scopes

I just put a nikon monarch on my 7mmRM, its got nice glass, good turrets.. its a great bit of gear , dont know what they go for (i can't recall right now what i paid)

but i'd buy another in a heartbeat

Yeah, i like the idea of one of those in right bolt, left port without the magazine.. I'd go one in 6br or 204 or perhaps even something big just for shits and giggles.

I just ordered the 80mm skyline straight spotting scope.. never used one before, but REALLY looking forward to getting one, i think it will help my long range shooting no end, should also make the sighting in at 200yards heaps easier what with the not walking back and forwards all the time.. *excite...

when you measure them, look for a shorter base -> sholder length, thats where I saw the difference.

The rem700 looks really nice, but I'd buy the savage.
