Bushnell Yardage PRO 800 - Review

PICTURES WILL FOLLOW LATER TONIGHT OR TOMORROW I've just taken hold of my first range finder, I've never even held one before so this one has in one way nothing to live up to, on the other hand it has to be as good as i hoped that range finders could be - So on with the story Ordering TheOpticZone w...

I Agree, i;d like to see caseless rounds, or high speed projectiles, liquid propellant. When you think about it, the use of solid fuel is somewhat more complicated and i imagine less safe, imagine what you'd have to go thru to use powder in the car engine, the liquid fuel makes alot more sense, same...

Slight update, went to Clarke Rubber and had a looksee, they had a 30mm rubber thing (looks like a door stop/food for a heavy piece of furniture)

The thing works perfectly, better than the rubber i was using, its one piece, and just the right size, was $2.95

Alpal, did you give it a go? I've since shortened mine about 1.5" and I'm very happy with it. I've knocked over a few bunnies with it now.

Some sort of adjustable leg would be good tho, the uneven ground requires some digging with the toe of the bipod to get a good rest sometimes.

drop the 'varmint' i've got one and wish i got the 'american' in 17hmr, the stupid rear lug is a crap design, shoots well enough but i'd buy the 452/3 american if i had my time over.

I don't use it under spotlight more than 3 or 4 times a year at most. I'm a fan of fine reticles because my eyesight is good and i shoot in good lighting at small targets at 200m+ so it makes sense.

I'm leaning towards the sidefocus bushnell 4200
