Re: Thermion.

On Friday i went out with a mate that has just acquired an XQ50. In a few weeks time i will be helping out another two mates setting up their XQs. Re: Restocking the Anschutz .222

Have used one of those Anschutz stocks with rollover comb and they are pretty comfortable and quite attractive IMO. Your refinish is looking good. Some nice figure there showing through the Organoil. Have used that product myself on a number of stocks and like it a lot.

Re: 220 Swift

Have always had excellent results with AR2209 in my Swifts. Current load produces 3975 FPS in a 24" Maddco and about half MOA with the 50gn NBT.

Re: Not feeling the love

Had the same issue with a Stiller that Clancy built for me. In my case he was the one that talked me into a barrel that was a lot heavier than I originally ordered. Turned out he had another customer wanted my barrel instead of the HV profile that I ended up with. Bad mistake on my part agreeing to...

I find that they don't fly anything like a Titleist and that a 7 iron is only good for about 25 yards.

I thought it went in the 30/06 action. I was wrong.

One question though - where can he buy a new Ruger 77 220 Swift from?
