Re: Barrel contours...
Hi Con
While the manufacturers have their standard profiles, my experience is you can ask them for a specific profile and they will manufacture to that. Probably just pay to speak with your supplier.

Re: 6mm ????????
Alright then, suggestions for dies, projectiles For dies I have the Redding type S match die set. Comes with neck bushing die, body die and micrometer seater. Re: 6mm ????????
Nothing wrong with the Omark Trev as far as accuracy. When I ran mine as a 30cal never had any issues with extraction and regularly agging in the 6” area. Just when you push them hard pressure wise extraction can become bit of an issue.

Re: 6mm ????????
Hey Camel I would say of the reamer choices you have go the straight BR. As Tony said don’t even start without bushing the firing pin, been there done that and had to bush mine. The other thing to consider with the Omark is their extraction. I have found on mine when pushing things along with the st...

Hi Jeff
Weather was the typical heavy mirage for February / March up here with the humidity. Winds were a switching down range to a switching head wind. Standard thing of 6 different conditions being shown from 5 flags with up to 12” of unexplained vertical thrown in for good measure

Re: DIY - New Build Project
Hey 🐿
As Missed said I sold it to Camel some time back and I don’t think he had the chance actually build a HG and use it due to being too busy feeding sheep due to the lack of rain.
Maybe one day we will see it back in service knocking down some small groups at long range.

Hi Gary the belt speed should be around 2950 surface feet per minute that I calculated on the motor speed of 2825 rpm and the drive wheel diameter of 4”
Here is a quick vid to show the speed it is doing:
